Feburary And March Updates

Yo my amphibians! I have been doing a lot of cool stuff lately and I’m excited to share it all with you guys so let’s get to it!

February Events and Updates

So sadly I had to take a backseat on a lot of my manga work and that kinda bummed me out, but it’s okay because I got to try out a lot of other cool new things. Also, trust me! I plan to kick it into high gear this month with my manga works!

ANIME WASHINGTON

So I worked at Anime Wa, and it was fun! I tried a new fun activity at my booth called Draw A Frog. I put a large bristol pad out on my table and allowed people to draw different frogs on it! It was a super big hit with all the attendees! Alongside that, I upgraded my booth a bit and added a couple of new prints as well. I learned a lot from my booth neighbors too! One of them doesn’t have social media but bless her soul, she is one of the most helpful people I’ve ever met! All in all, this was a very successful con for me and I hope to do it again yo.

ARTOON NETWORK

This event pushed me to try some new things. I was hella confused at first because I thought it was a requirement to have paintings that were cartoon network(I’m a dumbass who does not read); come to find out you can make whatever you wanted! The confusion was a blessing though because it allowed me to take my hand into acrylic paintings! The first painting was of Samurai Jack and Aku and the other was of Fuu from Samurai Champloo. The event itself was so dope!! It was a night event so it was 21+ and it was so cool to see how many people showed up for it. I loved it so much and it felt good to be in a late-night environment selling art for the first time. Highly recommend this event to anyone if it comes back around!

March Events And Updates

BLUE CONE STUDIOS ART WALK

Hands down this was the most experience I’ve ever gained from one event! BlueConee is a free studio in Seattle, Wa, and it’s so dope! They had me on as a featured artist for their art walk and let’s just say I was excited but low-key stressed. I’ve never worked in a gallery before or even hung up my art for display so it was a lot of studying and practicing. The fruits of all of this labor came to be 3 new large pieces and a new definitive style for my artworks. I think all of this preparation for this event and the outcomes from that are going to help me with my mangas and comics going forward. I love Blue Cone and I love all of the people I met that night; you guys are all awesome!

MANGA MONDAYS!

SO HERE IS THE GOOD NEWS!! Starting 4/21 and every third Monday of the month after, I will be hosting Manga Mondays at Blue Cone Studios in Seattle! If you live in the area please come through and join!!! It will be going on 6-9 pm and don’t worry about supplies unless you have your own special ones(like me with my Gpens :) )

Manga Updates!

So here’s the deal with the manga all of this stuff going on has been taking a lot of focus from me but in a good way. I plan to return to my stories this month and finally finish my one-shots! So please believe in me!
